Food and wine events? The Lambrusco of Castelvetro Modena

“To Be Lambrusco”, the event scheduled for 17 and 18 October 2010 at the Castle Levizzano Rangone in Castelvetro of Modena, organized by Simposio dei Lambruschi alongside the tasting will be two key moments that will see the interpretation of Lambrusco in the kitchen. The first will be the gourmet dinner open to the public with membership fee (for bookings Laura 349/6012643), scheduled for Sunday, October 17, at 20:00. The event will have as protagonists the chefs Massimo Bottura from the L'Osteria Franciscan, Isa Mazzocchi from the La Palta in Piacenza, and Franco Aliberti of the Restaurant Vite from San Patrignano. Three of the best chefs in the region will team to study a menu that enhances the Lambrusco, a wine that haute cuisine is always watching with more interest. Pledged to hold the wedding in the kitchen of the wine symbol of Modena, in fact, there are also professional sommeliers with the same result. With the competition "The Lambrusco is searching a wife", to be held Oct. 18, participants will test the kitchen, inventing a recipe ideal in combination with Lambrusco. On 18 October at 15:00 will be held the finals of the competition and you will know the verdict of the jury, composed of journalists Sandro Bellei and Stefano Reggiani, bloggers and high profile gourmet Stefano Caffarri from Appunti di Gola and Giancarlo Maffi, and by the executive and right arm of Chef Massimo Bottura of the Osteria Francescana, Yoji Tokuyoshi. The president and founder of the competition is Giuseppe Palmieri in the dinner room and in the winery of the Osteria Francescana.
