Wineries Lvnae: best rosé 2010

"Mea Rosa”, the rose of the Wineries Lvnae Bosons born from the ancient autochthonous Vermentino Nero, presented for the first time at Vinitaly 2010 edition, won the important recognition of Best Rosé 2010 during the Great rosé wine tasting of Italy, in the City of Taste of Rome (the seat of the Gambero Rosso). The Cellars Lvnae, with this latest success confirms its research and attention to their own territories and work aimed to the development and exploitation of indigenous grapes, a contemporary wine, intimately linked to traditional values as in the vineyard and in the cellar. Mea Rose comes from the wine making of the ancient autochthonous Vermentino Nero rediscovered and proposed after years of careful study and research by Paolo Bosoni and from the vineyard cellar masters. The grapes from three hectares of vineyards in the town of Ortonovo, cultivated according to the traditional methods without the use of herbicides, were picked by hand into small boxes of 15 kg. The friendly wine-making is designed to enhance the real character of the grape; has led to an intense rosy pink wine. The scents are characterized by hints of red fruit and wild strawberry and spicy references. In the mouth are confirmed the sensations perceived by the nose, enhanced by good freshness and good minerality.
