Who will be the Best Sommelier of Tuscany AIS 2010?

Sunday, June 27^th at the Versiliana of Fiumetto of Marina of Pietrasanta, at the Festival Franciacorta in Versilia, between tastings and live music,  will take place the final contest of the Best Sommelier of Tuscany AIS (Italian Sommelier Association), organized by Tuscany Sommelier Association. An important event for all those professionals Tuscan sommelier who will want to undertake a series of ability tests to win the prestigious title that brought fame and fortune to those that adorned in the past. The challenge is reserved for professional sommeliers, and will consist of two parts: the first involves a written test of theoretical knowledge, the second will be divided into a wine tasting and mise-en-place, service, food and wine matching and correction of a wine list. The jury of the applicants will be composed by the President of AIS Terenzio Medri, President of the Regional Association Osvaldo Baroncelli, the defending champion Andrea Balleri, the food and wine journalist Marzia Morganti Tempestini, the Head Regional Education Officer Massimo Castellani and the delegate of Versilia Andrea Balzani.
