Vicenza events: a week dedicated to the most popular dish on Italian tables. Gnocchi, pasta, gargati, bigoli and many other varieties of Italian pasta at the Pasta Week organized by Vicenza Qualità: 23rd to 30th of October 2010. Seven days entirely dedicated to the authentic taste of fresh pasta, combined with the most flavored sauces of the Vicenza tradition. The event is held on the occasion of the World Pasta Day 2010. Also this year the festival will involve producers, restaurant owners, operators and merchants to celebrate the history of an emblem dish of Italy. During the week, over forty restaurants in Vicenza will offer special menu of pasta with the formula 2 × 1: two complete meals each consisting of two first courses of pasta and two seconds, one of the first dishes will be eliminated from the total. You will be able to enjoy the menu of fresh pasta topped with sauce of Vicenza tradition and dishes with the freshest ingredients of the season: from the Bigoli with duck to the Gargati with consiero, from the Bigoli with broccoli to the Gargati with red radicchio and sopressata, to name a few. www.vicenzaqualita.org
