In the guide Italian Wines 2011 Gambero Rosso, were honored with the "Three Glasses" the Teroldego Rotaliano Maso Cervara 2007 and the classic method sparkling wine Altemasi Reserve Graal 2003 of the Cavit
The Teroldego Rotaliano Maso Cervara 2007and the Altemasi Riserva Graal 2003, of the “wine giant with co-operative footprint" Cavit - as defined in the guide Wines of Italy - were awarded the prestigious "Three Glasses" from the Italian Wines 2011 guide published every year by Gambero Rosso.
The Teroldego Rotaliano Maso Cervara 2007, Trentino native grapes, ruby red color with purple hues of extreme density, has aromatic notes of red berries and violets. Well-structured taste, balanced and enveloping, the taste reveals a strong aftertaste of blackberry and blueberry. It is the first time this important wine won the coveted award.
For Altemasi Riserva Graal, TRENTODOC classic method sparkling wine, however, the prize is the reaffirmation of the extreme quality and sophistication of the product, the flagship of the winery. In fact, as early as 1998 (vintage 1993), in 2004 (vintage 1995), in 2005 (vintage 1996), in 2006 (vintage 1997), in 2007 (vintage 2000) and 2008 (vintage 2001), this sparkling wine reserves, only for restaurants and wine bars, had been awarded the "three glasses" and last October had been crowned "champagne of the year". This precious Italian sparkling wine - 70% Chardonnay and 30% Pinot Noir - shows a persistent perlage, golden color with greenish hues, with aromas of honey, ripe apple, peach and hazelnut, and makes itself felt in the mouth full-bodied, intense and elegant.
