The Pearl of Ferrari

Real "jewel" of the winery Trentino, Giulio Ferrari (www.cantineferrari.it) is an excellent sparkling wine from the vineyard of Trento Doc. From vineyard of Maso Pianizza, is a cru that has managed over time to overcome the pitfalls of simple tastes and fashions. It is made with carefully selected Chardonnay grapes harvested in late September in the lands Ferrari.  The Maso Pianizza is in fact a vineyard property in the town of Trento and is 500-600 meters above sea level, facing southwest. The length of maturity is ten years, on yeasts from their crops. It is produced since 1972, but every year retains the same rewarding and fascinating character. Brilliant straw with golden highlights, ethereal bouquet of rare intensity with hints of honey combined with a hint of vanilla and white chocolate. In mouth is elegant and harmonious, with velvety body and composite with fragrances of vanilla, acacia honey, hay and ripe floral notes. Cornerstone of Italian wine, which has nothing to envy the French champagne.
