The great Italian chefs in Hong Kong!

The Italian Cuisine World Summit, the largest international conference devoted entirely to the high gastronomic Italian cuisine will be staged in Hong Kong 2nd to 7th of November 2010. The meeting is sponsored by the 14 best Italian restaurants in the former British colony - and two respectively in Macau and Shenzhen – and by the global network itchefs gvci (Virtual Group Italian Chefs) www.itchefs-gvci.com The Summit is an impressive collection of culinary talents, flavors and excellent Italian food and wine. The spotlight will be focused mainly on the thirty-five Master Chef of Italian cuisine, most Michelin-starred, from Italy, from New York, Rio de Janeiro, Moscow and from the Asia. Among the Master Chef guests at the Summit is first and foremost a delegation of chefs of the stars of Piedmont, which includes Marco Sacco,Giovanni Grasso, Igor Macchia, Sergio Vineis and Pier Bussetti. They'll have the honor of the opening of the event with a gala dinner dedicated to the white truffle (San Damiano d'Asti) and products of the Piedmont Region. Matteo Scibilia will lead a delegation instead of Cooks Consortium of Lombardy (with Michelin stars Enrico Bartolini, Gaetano Simonato, Andrea Tonola, Roberto Andreoni and Paolo Manfredi). Lombardy, with the support of Grana Padano, will also come two other great chefs: Claudio Sadler and Philippe Leveillé. But in Hong Kong there will also be popular Guest Chef from New York (Cesare Casella and Mark Ladner), Rio De Janeiro (Francesco Carli) and Moscow (Pietro Rongoni).
