The best pastry chef of 2009

Gino Fabbri, 58 years from Bologna, was elected unanimously pastry chef of the year at the XVI Symposium of the Academy of Italian Master Pastry Chefs in Naples. Fabbri won "for his professionalism and his constant striving for quality in the production and its ability to spread his knowledge." The 52 “academics” pastry chefs  challenged in sweet shots with the task of creating desserts using one or more products from the 4 IGP of Campania Felix: apples, nuts Giffoni Valle Piana, Amalfi and Sorrento lemons and Montella chestnuts. www.ginofabbri.com
