Gutturnio Festival on Colli Piacentini

On 24 and 25 April 2010 back Gutturnio Festival appointment came in the fifth year (with around 4,000 visitors expected), dedicated to wine tasting, tasting, matching food and wine and good living on the Colli Piacentini. The event takes place in Carpaneto Piacentino, in the fifteenth picturesque scenery of the Town Hall, Castle Scotti from Vigoleno. The Gutturnio Festival is a two-day tasting, to better understanding and direct contact between wine producers and wineries fromPiacenza, and thousands of fans and curious tourists drawn to one area, the Piacentino. This year, involving some 50 wineries, each with three wines for tasting, producing and marketing Gutturnio an the other Piacenza Doc wines. Is an opportunity to enjoy the best of Gutturnio and other sparkling wines from Piacenza, knowing the history and discover matchings with the best wine and food from the area. It will also be held wine tastings by the AIS and Fisar Sommeliers. As in past years, those interested can purchase the most popular wines during tastings at the Enoteca of Gutturnio Festival. During the weekend the neighboring restaurants will offer a menu in the Piacenza area, with matching dishes and local wines. The event will open Saturday from 15.00 to 22.00 and Sunday from 10.00 to 22.00.
