Saranno Milano and the Castle Sforzesco Museum will be for eight weeks the house a major exhibition dedicated to the master chef Gualtiero Marchesi, from 17th April to 20th June 2010.
Not just a celebrative "show", but a long journey that demonstrates and emotions, involving the viewer in a way that reveals and crosses stories of places and people, reconstructing wire to wire the plot of a much larger story, whose theme is the research of taste and shape of food. Dream and reality become one, involving the viewer in a form of learning, which is wonder and imagination together.
When the kitchen is able to interpret the time and space, taking the change and cultural events in Milan and Italy, preserving the knowledge to plot an alternative route, serves the same function of art. It is able, in short, to catalyze the material and the spiritual aspect, providing a picture of the past and a vision of the future. "The exhibition Storiæ of Italy, Gualtiero Marchesi and the Great Italian Cooking" is on three floors: the exposure itself will occupy three halls with a total of seven hundred square meters, the practical demonstrations on techniques that together make the job cook and a series of meetings in which the city will be involved.
The entire program will have as leitmotif the number seven as the seven strokes, comparable to the musical notes, from the menu of Gualtiero Marchesi. The curator of the exhibition is the architect Giovanni Leone. This was and is the personal and professional story of Gualtiero Marchesi. And sorry if it is little.
