Grand Prix of taste in Ferrari House

Engines running and ready to start for the eighth edition of the "Gran Premio del Gusto" that Sunday, October 3rd, 2010, will take visitors among the excellent food and wine tours of Maranello. In the town of Modena, there will be a parade of the "red" of the Ferrari House, but the protagonists of the event will not be only the cars: even and especially the typical food of the area.  It will be awarded prizes to the delicacies of the cuisine of Emilia, such as balsamic vinegar, the Lambrusco of Emilia – the Rosso Rubino and the Grasparossa of Lambrusco - tomato sauce, preserved and the ham of Maranello. At the "Grand Prix of Taste", in line with one dominant color, this year has signaled a new flaming entry: the Melanello, juicy and sweet variety of apple, exclusive of the territory. There will not be left out the specialties of different color but who represent the "red passion" of this generous "land of myth”, the Parmigiano Reggiano, the liquor "nocino" and the chestnut, linden, acacia and dandelion honey. The event participants can enjoy and taste the products around the city, involved in a festive air, including music, dances and shows. www.comune.maranello.mo.it
