Grand Hotel Porto Cervo and the great wines of Sardinia

The Emerald Coast opens the 2010 season with the second edition of the Porto Cervo Wine Festival, 7 to 9 May 2010, will feature the largest producers of Italian wines from Sardinia and the big names of the sector, among them the prestigious structures managed by the Grand Hotel Porto Cervo, of the Starwood Hotels & Resorts. Bright colors and scents that smell of spring, an unspoiled nature and an unique emerald sea. These are the ingredients that form the background of the festival, which confirms the winning formula of last year: a time for discussion and debate through the workshops to be held from 10 to 13, and will follow, from 15 to 20, the tasting path hosted in the Conference Center in the heart of Porto Cervo. Many excellent names this year that will enliven the moderated debates by Bruno Gambacorta and housed in the elegant setting of the Hotel Cervo.  The Prof. Attilio Scienza, the internationally renowned winemaker Donato Lanati, sociologist Marilena Colussi, along with many other experts will discuss how it is changing the world of wine, such as new challenges, through the protagonists of some important case history; they will try to understand the marketing and sales strategies to be adopted to overcome the crisis. Featured even the haute cuisine with the chefs of Hotel Cervo and Pitrizza that propose menus created specifically for the event: a journey to discover the local flavors expertly interpreted and creatively combined with the great wines of Sardinia (list of exhibitors ).
