Food and wine events? The Fair of Albareto Boletus mushroom

The sweet fragrance of the underworld king of the Apennines, the Boletus mushroom from Albareto (PR) in mid-September is celebrated directly in its realm. From Friday 10^th to Sunday, 12^th September 2010 will be held the 15^th edition of the Fair of Albareto mushroom, the fourth to have been obtained among the food and wine events the recognition of National Fair, which has become a tradition for the hills of Parma. An unmissible event for the lovers of the noble fungus, the weekend includes a series of events linked by love and passion for the pore, which in these parts is true religion. Heat up the pots and tie the napkins from Friday, September 10th, at 18, when it is announced the pending opening of the wine and food stands, celebrated with the body of Albareto band. The following day, Saturday, September 11th, 2010, the stands open from 9am and remain open throughout the day to allow purchases and greedy pauses. At eleven will be held the cooking class with local chefs, organized at Palafungo, to test their skills in the kitchen and steal some secret from the experts. At 12:00 opens the restaurant, with menus invariably based on the precious fungi, and at 15:00, will be held the exhibition devoted to mushrooms. In the afternoon we repeat the cooking class at 17:00; at 19:00 reopen the restaurant: the specialties are so many that you can create menus with different dishes, having lunch and dinner at the Palatenda for the duration of the event. Sunday, September 12th, 2010 in addition to the stands, a the restaurant and at the cooking class in the morning and in the afternoon it will be place for side events organized in collaboration with associations of cities and the evocation of ancient threshing on the threshing area Fair. During the Boletus Mushroom Fair, a large space is reserved for the Made in Italy, with the street market where the “Exhibition of Italian taste” triumphs. For children, there are several entertainment, a workshop designed by the Albareto kindergarten and guided tours, to be made in family.
