Food and wine events? Gustatus in the lagoon of Orbetello

Among the food and wine events, will be five days filled with the scents and tastes of the traditional country and of the lagoon in the rich and varied exhibition organized by the Consortium Welcome Maremma, the ACI and Slow Food, now in its fifth edition. There are four basic themes: Path of Taste, The Now of the Taste, Markets and Traditions, Culture and Events. Food and wine production to the discovery of typical local food and wine where the participating companies will be able to exhibit and promote the free tasting of their products, the best traditional dishes of Maremma. Orbetello is also Sea and Lagoon: new this year, Piazza Cortesini, The Fish Market will be set up where fishmongers, seafood companies, fishermen will have the opportunity to exhibit and offer tastings of fresh fish and prepared fish. Slow Food will also make experience the pleasure of aware eating in the company of fishermen, ranchers, farmers and winemakers, a direct bridge between producers and consumers. The Now of the Taste presents the Chocolate, to discover the aromas, colors and flavors of processing and production of chocolate local and non-local. The intent is to enhance the chocolate and make everyone understand that even products like cottage cheese, rice, saffron, wine, tobacco and chestnut may accompany the chocolate and make it clear to the world that there are still master chocolatiers that make unique and amazing products, in spite of industrial processes.
