Calici di stelle: The preview in Treviso

On 23th  and 24th of July 2010, Treviso hosts a special preview of the appointment most anticipated of the wine world in the summer, signed by  City of Wine and Wine Tourism Movement, that will be held on 10^th of August, 2010: " Calici Di Stelle", where we’ll toast to the respect for the environment and eco-sustainability in the cellar, from collection to recycling, from saving energy to using renewable sources. The wine world is  an ally of the environment: a theme that runs through the entire production, from vineyard to cellar, a challenge not only for companies but for the entire territory that surrounds them. The rich program offers a series of events ranging from tastings tours, themed menus offered by the chefs for the historical re-enactments, from the walks at night at the urban hiking, music, exhibitions, markets, cinema and theater, while keeping an eye on the focus of this year: the environment, in an attempt to preserve the rural Italian heritage through conservation policies of the local eco-systems. Between tastings will be possible, during the night of San Lorenzo, observe the sky and the stars under the expert guidance of the Italian Union of Amateur Astronomers, and to promote moderate, responsible consumption, and in many places and wineries you will receive a free alcohol test, designed for the occasion with the unmistakable logo of " Calici di Stelle " for a test immediately before driving.
