Caldaro’s Wine & gastronomy (South Tyrol): two events full of taste!
June 5th: "Caldaro, Theatre Pleasures" with the performance on open-air kitchen of chef Roland Trettl, music and spectacle - June 29th: "Caldaro in White” evening presentation of white wines of Caldaro.
In the Lido of Caldaro Lake (South Tyrol), will open on 5th June, from 19.30, “South Tyrol - Pleasures Theatre”, a special evening dedicated to the best international cuisine combined with tasting the best wines from Caldaro. Special guest straight from the legendary restaurant "Ikarus" Hangar 7 in Salzburg will be the internationally renowned chef Roland Trettl. The daring chef with Tyrolean roots will surprise you with specialties in a true spectacle of open-air kitchen.
On 29th June, however, it renews the appointment with "Caldaro white dress”, the evening presentation of white wines - made from Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Pinot Blanc and Pinot Gray- form the wineries Caldaro, scheduled in Market Square: a unique evening accompanied by tastings, music and culinary delicacies. On this occasion, the local winemakers will present their wines guiding even the inexperienced to discover the secrets of the production techniques and tasting; the evening will be also a good time to taste the specialties of local cuisine.
Both events are organized by Wein.Kaltern, the association that brings together 59 Caldaro production realities, which for over a decade dedicated to the promotion of this unique area, pearl of South Tyrol.
