Autumn truffle recipes of the Locanda Canevari
From October 15th, 2010 and for the entire month of November, in addition to the menu, Locanda Canevari offers two intriguing proposals in honor of the truffle.
At the Locanda Canevari in Volpedo (AL), during this autumn, will feature the gastronomic treasures of the Tortona hills, interpreted by the young chef Daniele Lunghi. Given the season just started, it's time to enjoy its majesty the white truffle strictly local (truffles of Alba or Asti).
From October 15th, 2010 and for the entire month of November, in addition to the menu, Locanda Canevari offers two intriguing proposals in honor of the truffle (Small and Large menu) where this tuber finds elegant combination with ingredients and flavors of the Piedmont region: from the bar of raw meat, to the thistle of Nizza Monferrato, and the classic risotto, to the tripe or shin of fat beef, until you get to snails and sweetbreads.
Two entirely menu based on recipes with truffles, since each specialty will be accompanied by the precious underground mushroom.
To complete the experience are also provided two courses with wines at glass from the barbaresco to the barbera d’Asti, and moscato d’Asti, ideal for discovering all the facets of this rich territory.
