The cheese of the red cow of Reggio Emilia and the Modena white recently returned to production, the lard of Cinta Senese with specific nutritional qualities and the aromatic culatello of Romagna, Borettana onion and garlic of Voghiera. And yet the culatello of Zibello, the corn flour of Marano, the Lambrusco from Fogarino grapes. You should not miss the appointments with the races of goodies: "Mustum Ardens”, mustards and jams race open to the public, the Challenge of the Tortello, Derby between the traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena and of Reggio. The typical products Emilia and not only are put in the race. The tortelli will compete showing off their best filled, the macaroons, with ricotta and herbs or Mugello potatoes, pumpkin, or spinach, mustards, jams and preserves will perform their perfumes; traditional balsamic vinegar of Modena and Reggio will evolve their aroma. One hundred exhibitors will fill the squares of Guastalla during the event: small farmers, conservative of tradition, but also retailers "collectors" of the Italian food excellence. They will participate also associations and restaurateurs from the city center, which will serve, in taverns and at staging points along the way, traditional dishes from Emilia and Lombardy, from stew of Somarina to fried dumplings, from Cappelletti in soup to Lambrusco risotto. And who is not content to sample can stop for lunch or dinner in one of the dining set up between the squares and streets of Guastalla. www.pianteeanimaliperduti.it
