Pellegrino and Missoni share and that they emphasized in a Bottle of Special Edition produced and distributed in 30 million pieces in the world's best restaurants. The elements around which the designers have focused are the water and its color variations, represented by the famous Missoni "zig-zag".
An evening of excellence of fashion and food Made in Italy to accompany the official presentation of the first special edition bottle of water S. Pellegrino. Within the international project "S. Pellegrino meets Italians Talents" - designed with the aim of creating synergies with Italian companies operating internationally in the high-end markets – Sanpellegrino has entrusted to Missoni the project to develop a special edition of the historic bottle that will be distributed in the best restaurants in Italy and abroad, for a period of about three months, in 30 million pieces. For the background of the bottle labels the famous zig zag Missoni has been chosen and declined in four color shades. The result is fully integrated with the classic image of St. Peregrine.
But this is not all. To celebrate the event was also produced a limited edition of PR bottles. The bottles were covered with an original hand-woven patchwork in the unmistakable style of Missoni. The final touch is the red star, one of the hallmarks of the brand San Pellegrino, tied to the bottle like a charm with a red ribbon.
During the presentation evening the chef Massimo Bottura of the restaurant Osteria Francescana has delighted the guests with its unique culinary creations, all full of flavor and the taste of the homeland of the Italian chef, Emilia Romagna.
Bottura loves contamination between food, products, art and music and he wanted to pay homage Missoni and Sanpellegrino creating a special dish for the occasion. The zig zag Missoni has been reinterpreted by the chef "Zig Zag - from north to south, from east to west - the colors and flavors of Italy are found in a drink" a fresh soup served in a shot glass that concentrates the flavors and scents of the Beautiful Country: vinegar Zibibbo Pantelleria from Gabrio Pini, syrup, sugar, oregano, capers, olives, candied citrus peel, pistachios, bitter almonds, hazelnuts, peaches, melons and water S. Pellegrino.
