Tasty appetizers at Villa Quaranta Park Hotel

Gourmet appetizers at Villa Quaranta Park Hotel, a seventeenth century villa in Valpolicella Classica, in a strategic position just steps from the magnificent view of Lake Garda, near the center of Verona. Each month the event "Cellar in Villa" is renewed to accommodate at Villa Quaranta those who like to spend a few hours among fine wines and delights that excite the palate, from appetizers to desserts. The colors, scents and flavors are evocative and surprise each time the guests. Thursday, October 28th, 2010 will take place the appetizer "Peccati di Gola Charm of the autumn", aimed to taste food and wine of this season painted in earthy and red colors. To taste:

• Sweet lard Lessinia on homemade Walnut bread and jam of Marroni Ponte di Veja
• Surprise of Schioppo on homemade Pumpkin Bread and Balsamic Vinegar
• Cream of Leek, Potato and Monte Veronese Stravecchio chips
• Autumn Cake with Mushrooms and Sweet Casatella from Lessinia
• Cimber flowers and dried leaves of walnut and Delight of Persimmon and Cinnamon
• Homemade Pie with lightly dried Corvina Grape
• Fantasia of chocolate and dried fruit of the Lessini
• Tastes of the colorful wood
