Porto Cervo Food Festival 2010

Porto Cervo Food Festival on 25th and 26th of September 2010, brings in Costa Smeralda the Italian gastronomic excellence, the work of our great chefs
The Hotels Cala di Volpe, Cervo and Pitrizza Romazzino (Porto Cervo hotels) are ready to welcome the second edition of Porto Cervo Food Festival that, on 25th and 26th September 2010, will propose a series of tastings, and cooking shows and gourmet dinners signed by Chefs Igles Corelli and Enrico Bartolini. The enchanting Cervo Conference Center, in the heart of Porto Cervo, there are several tasting of raw materials of high quality: from caviars to truffles, from honey to roe, to reach the "special" products, such as kosher and those selected for those with eating disorders. A journey through gastronomic specialties and niches, starting from Sardinia, will lead the food lovers among the scents and flavors of the main Italian regions. The route then will lead the participants in the garden of the Conference Center to enjoy live performances of the executive chefs of the Starwood hotels, Aldo Cadau (Cervo Hotel), Franco Guardone (Cala di Volpe Hotel), Giovanni Raccagni (Hotel Romazzino) and Manuel Arcadu (Pastry Chef Cervo Hotel). Finally on 25th and 26th of September 2010 are scheduled two evenings gourmet chefs signed by two guests in the most prestigious restaurants of the Costa Smeralda. Saturday 25th, will delight guests of Hotel Pitrizza, Igles Corelli (www.locandadellatamerice.com), master of Italian cuisine that will propose a menu created specifically for the event. Sunday 26th, the restaurant Il Pescatore (Porto Cervo) welcome Enrico Bartolini (Devero Cavenago Hotel: www.deverohotel.it/it/ristorazione), the most popular young Italian chef, already with a Michelin star. www.portocervofoodfestival.com
