Gerardo Cesari conquest America

Cesari: high-quality Amarone conquest America and receive the prize of "Top 100" by Wine Enthusiast
When Franco Cesari made the first order in the U.S. was 1975 and, perhaps then he would never have expected to become one of the most appreciated wines overseas, since the knowledge about the Italian wine was practically none. Time has passed since those years for one of the most successful Italian wine which is Amarone della Valpolicella. Merit also to Gerardo Cesari Company, among the first to export to the U.S., thanks to the hard work in the vineyard and in the winery has resulted from the historic home one of the most famous Italian brands. Demonstrating the quality of wine is the prize of "Top 100" by Wine Enthusiast, presented at the Ceremony Award Wine Enthusiast to Deborah Cesari, export manager and daughter of the founder Franco Cesari, still at the helm of the company. On this occasion, Deborah Cesari accepted the award alongside some of the best Italian names such as Angelo Gaja, Ceretto, Biondi Santi and Planeta. The award-winning wine was the 2001 Amarone Bosan, diamond of the company's production: an Amarone with intense aromas of cherry and red fruit with delicate floral notes. Direct and immediate, it has notes of red apple, vanilla and wood, soft and comfortable, has a note on the finish of ripe fruit and velvety tannins. www.cesari-spa.it
