Food and wine events? At dinner in the cellars

In May-June, between food and wine events in the province of Vicenza: At dinner in the cellars. Tasting wines combined with traditional dishes.
Among the food and wine events this year, in May starts the initiative "AT DINNER IN THE CELLARS", a series of five events at the wineries acting as restaurants in the province of Vicenza. These evenings are open to tourists and enthusiasts dedicated to gourmet food and wine tasting native of Vicenza enhanced by the combination with dishes made strictly from local products. During each evening, it will be possible to taste wines from the cellar and taste the buffet of specialties offered by the Restaurateurs Assoartigiani: visit the winery, led by the owners of the company; knowing the history, stories and anecdotes about the wines and the foods of the area; enjoying the evening’s entertainment. There are five evenings to enjoy the wines paired with local dishes:
  • May 13th, 2010 19.30 - CELLAR DAL MASO. Selva di Montebello Vicentino.
  • May 20th, 2010 19.30 - COMPANY / VILLA DA SCHIO. Costozza of Longare.
  • May 27th, 2010 19.30 - CELLAR SCARONI. Breganze.
  • June 3rd, 2010 19.30 - CELLAR PIOVENE. Toara Villaga.
  • June 10th, 2010 19.30 - PALAZZO PISANI. Lonigo.
The Restaurateurs of the Crafts Association are a team of restaurants in the province of Vicenza, which see the kitchen as art of transformation, creativity, passion and skillful interpretation of local products.
