Fair of Mondovi, Cuneo

From 30th of October to 1st of November 2010, returns "Peccati di Gola" in Mondovi in the province of Cuneo
An inescapable appointment with the flavors and traditions of the land in Mondovi: a fair-market of agricultural products and food and wine, with an emphasis on local specialties, in an exhibition that is an important showcase of local productions. Features of the fair in Mondovi, Cuneo, is the direct contact between the producer and the consumer without the intermediation of dealers, in order to promote the short chain in the food and wine industry. In particular, this 2010 edition will be the protagonist of the Black Truffle Monregalese, 'twinned' with the prized Alba truffle, which is white: a truffle fair in an area where grows in the underground lush and spontaneous. Visitors can also take a real 'delicious journey': from the appetizer tasting with local wines, will continue with the pasta (the pasta Monregalese, created by Marco Michelis that produces exclusively for the newborn Eataly NY), with top-quality local meat and finally the dessert (Paste di Meliga Slow Food, but also the chocolate of the producers of the Association of Chocolate in Italy). As usual, Peccati di Gola 2010sees the involvement of the Slow Food Mondovì-Valle Tanaro and the Regional Committee of Piedmont and Valle d'Aosta. www.comune.mondovi.cn.it
