Emanuele Scarello and the tribute to Madame Clicquot

In 2005, the year of the bicentennial celebration, was launched in Italy Madame Clicquot Award, to celebrate women around the world that through their work reflected their personality and values.The 2010 edition of the Award was won by Angela Vettese, international art critic and President of the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa
Daring, responsible, creative and visionary in 1805 Barbe-Nicole Ponsardin, Madame Clicquot, takes the reins of the family and brings his precious champagne in all courts of Europe, winning a seat of honor in history. Not by chance, is remembered as Madame Clicquot La Grande Dame Champagne with its motto "One quality, the better." In 2005, the year of the bicentennial celebration, was launched in Italy Madame Clicquot Award, to celebrate women around the world through their work as a reflection of their personality and values. The 2010 edition of the Award was won by Angela Vettese, international art critics as well as President of the Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa in Venice, to have taken care of the first solo exhibition in a public Italian head office of the artist Maja Bajevic. The ceremony was held in Palazzo Durini, Milan, and on this occasion, the chef Emanuele Scarello from the restaurant “Agli Amici” from Godia (UD) has delighted the palates of the guests with some of his famous creations of haute cuisine, like Royale egg in its shell with caviar and trout, squid Carbonara, "Rock" of Godia (it's a potato), yogurt with foie gras, Our Book of bass (sea bass carpaccio topped with sauce pork). The end of “salt” course has been emphasized with the plate homage to the etiquette of Maison Veuve Clicquot and the city of Milan: Risotto with saffron with a "veil" of shellfish and summer herbs. At the end was a small triumph of sweetness appreciated by all. www.moethennessy.it
