At the restaurant Navedano flowers are the protagonists
The restaurant in Como Navedano has also added fresh flowers in their last menu "Dew Point"
First and only greenhouse Italian restaurant, Navedano is a secret address surrounded by the green oasis of Cosia, housed in a nineteenth century villa just minutes from downtown Como. Here the perfume of the protagonists the culinary stage, the flowers, pervades the restaurant, which is adorned both internally and externally as a greenhouse. Fresh flowers are just everywhere, from the large terrace to the salons, and you can find them in the menu also. From the kitchen and from the annexed pastry, are borning the refined menu of fish and meat and the suggestive "Dew Point", the menu of flowers that praise the taste and the summer, with a profusion of herbs (like ursinus garlic) buds (eg dandelion) and petals, which come directly from the orchard and fields of private woodland, located behind the kitchen. The brigade led by Chef Giorgio Zanini has a research job, turning special attention to fresh ingredients and their seasonality, finding the right balance between experimentation and tradition. The new menu "Dew Point" invites you to enjoy a location where the flowers come as ingredients in an explosion of delicate aromas and refined flavors for the palates, starting from the spectacular appetizer, the "Red Cow Crunchy Corolla Parmesan, sprouts dandelion and quail eggs ", to the "Risotto with hop flowers and Talegio chees”, from the tender “Rabbit Lombatina with clover, nuts, prosciutto and chamomile”, to the sweet friandises that are finishing the meal. Also noteworthy is a good wine list, more than 500 wines representing the best Italian and foreign manufacturers, with particular emphasis on Italian regions, and a small selection of beers from Belgium in combination with the plates of the different menus. www.ristorantenavedano.it
